Sketches from the West Highland Way
At the end of September 2023 I embarked on the West Highland Way, an epic (and very wet) walk of 96 miles. I took a small set of watercolours with me as they are so much more portable than oils.
Thank you to those of you who followed my journey on Polarsteps or Instagram/Facebook and sent me supportive messages, it really meant a lot and kept me going when times got tough. I did a watercolour sketch every day of the various animals and scenes that I saw and sent these as a daily postcard to my mother who gifted me the trip for my birthday earlier this year.
