Please contact me to discuss your project. For portraits of people, I like to capture their character so I prefer to meet at least once face to face with the subject in my studio as lighting is also important. However I can work from photo references if necessary - we can discuss together the most suitable pose. Here is a contemporary style portrait completed in oils on canvas 70x70cm so it is larger than life. Prices on application.

Pet Portraits - in pastels or oils
As an artist I like to convey your pet’s unique character and expression in a way that a photograph cannot. Materials used
For pet portraits I generally work in pan pastels, soft pastel sticks and pencils on the best quality pastel paper. I do not spray fixative on my work as this can dull the colours. You will therefore need to protect the artwork under a glass frame.
Gift vouchers are available if you would like to give someone the gift of a commission portrait.
The Process
You send me some photos and we decide on the pose. I require a 50% deposit when the booking is made. Once started I will send you progress shots to check you are happy. When the portrait is finished you pay the remainder and I post the artwork to you on a Royal Mail Tracked 48 service. Your portrait comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
