View from Selsley Common | Original Watercolour

In August 2022 there was a heatwave and the grass was parched on Selsley Common near Bath, but looking over to Doverow Hill and the Woodchester Valley Vineyard there, I noticed the vines were still a vibrant green. The vines' roots plunge deep into the porous limestone to find the water they need. 

This watercolour has been bought by a collector.
